Weight loss

Weight loss support:

Over the past 35 years, I have observed that people are gradually losing touch with their traditional knowledge of nutrition, healthy eating and time-honoured dietary wisdom. The advent of processed foods, countless varieties of products, ready meals, fizzy drinks and the changing pace of our lives has created chaos in our daily lives, a complete shift in our relationship with food, meals and digestion.

Weight Loss & Realignment

A personalised and supportive approach to regaining balance, without dieting or pressure, whilst respecting each individual’s body, history and customs. Move from being a passive consumer to a conscious, active consumer who is happy with their body, their life and their relationship with food. It is possible to achieve a figure that reflects your personality.

We’re not talking about diets here; we’ve all seen how, for decades, new books on yet another revolutionary diet have been appearing on our bookshop shelves… Almost all of us have, at some point, tried a diet that ‘works really well’… except for us…

How many of us have found ourselves back at square one a few months or years later?

These experiences can feel like failures and breed feelings of guilt (for not managing to lose weight), frustration (why doesn’t it work for me?), and anger (they’re all quacks)… Rightly or wrongly, these emotions often lead to a rejection of the subject of food and sometimes a plunge into overeating following these disappointments, a refusal to delve into this seemingly difficult and painful subject again.

And yet, it really can be simple, enjoyable and easy to lose weight, to regain a figure that suits you and is good for your mental and physical health.

Naturopathy and travels to the four corners of the globe have opened my eyes to a more tolerant, integrative perspective and a deeper understanding of what helps people regain their ideal weight, which I incorporate into my support programs.

Losing weight is above all about finding the shape, the figure, the silhouette that truly reflects who I am. The body types of European models are not the same in Africa, North or South America, or the Pacific Islands… These are merely societal ideals, not reality; it is up to us to break free from these enslaving and pointless conditioning to lead a happy life. It is because we are different that our society is beautiful. Imagine a city where ALL women and ALL men are identical, perfectly the same… That uniformity would be boring to death, wouldn’t it?

EVERY PERSON IS UNIQUE

&

EVERY COACHING SESSION IS UNIQUE

What does the coaching process generally involve?

During the first session, we spend an hour and a half together, as it is important for me to get to know you in many aspects of your life, including your personal and cultural background and your genetic makeup.

At the end of this first session, we agree together on the first steps, the initial actions you will take to begin changing your diet, without causing mental or physical strain.

During the first few weeks, we stay in regular contact, as change comes through support and encouragement; in this way, repetition and consistency become a new habit after a few weeks.

Little by little, you take back the wheel of your vehicle (in Chinese philosophy, our body is called a ‘small vehicle’, which is a lovely image to help visualise that we are getting back behind the wheel); you regain your self-confidence and self-awareness, and you move towards autonomy, as the aim is for you to take full control of your diet with enjoyment and stability.
